Métis Nation
The Métis National Council represents the interests of Métis nation members throughout Canada. There are Métis provincial and regional governments in Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, and British Columbia. There are also more local kinds of government called locals, community councils, or chartered communities.
